Walking Tours in Istanbul

Our walking tours involve moderate walking on varied terrain. The Old City has some hills and cobblestone streets, while the Grand Bazaar is mostly flat but requires several hours of standing and walking. Each tour description notes the difficulty level, but generally, we recommend comfortable walking shoes and a moderate level of fitness. Our guides are flexible and can adjust the pace to accommodate the group.

For most walking tours, entrance fees to the main attractions are included in the price. The Istanbul Classics Morning Tour includes entrances to the Blue Mosque and other included sites. However, some optional sites or special exhibitions might require additional tickets. Each tour description clearly lists what is included and excluded.

Our standard walking tours usually have a maximum of 12-15 participants to ensure a personal experience and the ability to hear your guide clearly. Some specialized walking tours, such as photography walks or food tours, may have smaller group sizes of 8-10 people for a more intimate experience. Private walking tours are also available for families or groups who prefer an exclusive experience.

Our walking tours operate in light rain with the use of umbrellas. In case of heavy rain or adverse weather conditions, the guide may modify the route to include more indoor sites or sheltered areas. In extreme weather conditions, we offer the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. We recommend checking the weather forecast and bringing appropriate gear during rainy seasons.
